Since 1987, Airflow Systems has been designing, building and selling the most efficient FAA-certified intercoolers available. With growth based on satisfied customers and the word-of-mouth advertising they provide, and on favorable reviews in The Aviation Consumer and other trade journals, Airflow Systems has sold hundreds of intercoolers worldwide. Company president Bill Genevro attributes this success to three factors: careful design engineering, ease of installation, and affordability Drawing on his extensive experience in the aircraft modification industry, Mr. Genevro shaped the Airflow Systems approach to serve the needs of the owner/pilot and the intercooler installer. To reduce cockpit work for the pilot, Airflow Systems eliminated the differential temperature gage found in many intercooler installations and replaced it with a power chart. This frees the pilot from making inflight calculations for power settings. Retaining over-boost protection (something missing in many after-market intercoolers) also makes life easier for the pilot.
